UMI SNOW LAB is a research log focused on the mechanics of movement and body structure in snowboarding.
The more I rode, the more my right thigh burned out.
I thought it was a strength issue.
I thought it was a technique problem.
I was wrong.
It wasn’t about strength or technique.
My movement was misaligned at a structural level.
This site explores that “misalignment” through:
- 4 Stance Theory
- STANCER measurements
- Hip mobility analysis
All content is based on personal experience, observation, and independent analysis, using my own body as a testing model.
Topics
- Body Mechanics & Snowboarding
- Technique & Riding
- Gear & Setup
- Body Care & Self-Maintenance
- Mindset & Thinking
